Tag Someone in a Facebook Comment (Mobile App)
This is the most common way people tag friends in comments. It works the same on iPhone and Android.
Open the comment box
Tap Comment under the post, or tap an existing comment to reply to it.
Type @ and start the name
Type @ and then begin typing the person's name with no space after the @ symbol (e.g. @JaneSmith). A drop-down list of matching people and Pages appears.
Select the right person
Tap the correct name from the suggestions. Facebook inserts the tag and the name turns blue—that blue text is the link to their profile.
Post the comment
Tap the send/post arrow. The person receives a notification that you mentioned them.
