✅ Quick Answer

To see your Facebook blocked list: Settings & privacy → Settings → Audience and visibility → Blocking. The "Block users" section lists everyone you've blocked, each with an Unblock button. Fastest route: open Settings and type "Blocking" in the search bar.

How to See Your Blocked List on the Facebook App (iPhone & Android)

1

Open Settings & privacy

Tap the menu (☰) (bottom-right on iPhone, top-right on Android) → Settings & privacySettings.

2

Go to Blocking

Scroll to Audience and visibility → tap Blocking. (Or just type "Blocking" into the search bar at the top of Settings—it's the quickest way.)

3

View "Block users"

The Block users section shows your full blocked list—every account you've blocked, newest first.

How to See Your Blocked List on Desktop (facebook.com)

  1. Click your profile photo (top right) → Settings & privacySettings.
  2. In the left menu, click Blocking.
  3. Your Block users list appears, with an Unblock link beside each name.

Direct link when logged in: facebook.com/settings?tab=blocking.

How to Unblock Someone

In the same Blocking screen, tap Unblock next to the person's name and confirm. Note: unblocking does not automatically re-add them as a friend—you'd need to send a new friend request. You also can't re-block someone for 48 hours after unblocking them.

Block vs Restrict vs Snooze: Which Should You Use?

Block

A full cut-off: you and the person can't see each other's profiles, message, or interact. Best for harassment or a clean break.

Snooze

Hides someone's posts for 30 days without blocking them. Good for a temporary break—see our guide on controlling who can comment.

Restrict / ban (Pages)

On a Facebook Page, you can ban a user so they can't comment, while their existing comments stay hidden from others. Better than blocking for managing a brand audience.

Does Someone Know If They're on Your Blocked List?

No. Facebook never notifies anyone that they've been blocked. They may suspect it because your profile stops appearing for them, your past messages show a blank profile, and they can't tag or find you. Blocking is silent on both sides.

Running a Page? Blocking one account at a time doesn't scale

If you're building a long blocked list to fight spam, scams, and trolls on your business Page, there's a faster way. FeedGuardians automatically hides spam and offensive comments across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok—on posts and ads—so you stop blocking accounts one by one.

Go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Audience and visibility → Blocking. The "Block users" section lists everyone you've blocked. On desktop, Settings → Blocking (or facebook.com/settings?tab=blocking).

Where is the blocked list in the Facebook app?

Menu (☰) → Settings & privacy → Settings → Audience and visibility → Blocking. The fastest route is typing "Blocking" into the Settings search bar.

Can people tell if they're on my blocked list?

No—Facebook never notifies anyone they've been blocked. They may guess because your profile no longer appears for them and they can't message or find you.

Why can't I re-block someone right away?

After you unblock someone, Facebook enforces a 48-hour wait before you can block them again. Unblocking also doesn't re-add them as a friend.
