This report analyzed 2.4 million public comments across 850 DTC brands from January to March 2026. Brands were selected from the Shopify Plus, BigCommerce Enterprise, and direct-to-consumer segments with annual revenues between $5M and $500M.
Platforms covered: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Bluesky. Conversion data was estimated using attribution models from a subset of 120 brands that shared anonymized analytics.
Sentiment scores were calculated using a proprietary NLP model calibrated against 50,000 human-labeled comments with 94% inter-rater agreement.
